Blonde again! – I discovered Peter at his former salon by (awfully good) luck, and would follow him anywhere. He's great, the space is big and well lit, and to lie down to get your hair washed is a cool idea. Also, check out the beautiful red floor.

Best Stylist for Straight/Fine Hair – I have been having my hair cut by Nathalie Herve for about 10 years and have followed her from salon to salon. My hair is very straight and fine and is cut short. One mistake in the cut and it is obvious - it also makes the highlights look bad. Nathalie does a great cut every time. Peter the God of Color – I have been going to Peter for my haircolor for the last few years and when he moved to Miwa Alex I was a bit worried his prices could go up and I wouldn't get the same customer service as I did at his previous salon .. Incomparable Color! – I followed Peter Ripley from his previous salon to his current salon because, in the words of my dad, "If you can't trust your hair colorist, who can you trust?" When I first met Peter my color was something out of a Tim Burton flick: dark, salt and pepper, and reminiscent of a song from The Cure (pick one, anyone). What would I do without Nathalie? – I have been having my hair cut by Nathalie for 15 years or more nd Miwa-Alex is the third salon I have followed her to. She has found her home there and continues to be a go- to haircutter for those us with fine, straight hair which needs careful cutting. Natalie is a wonderful haircutter; elegant and charming and cut my hair so it looked sharp for work but stylish for the evenings. The salon itself is welcoming and warm and makes you feel like stepping into a good friends home. Just south of Madison Park so a great place to be before or after. Borys

Mauricio transformed my hair! – Mauricio is the best hairdresser I've ever had. He turned my frizzy, thin, fly-away hair into a beautiful, shiny mane with highlights that literally light up my face.
