Barbara is the best colorist EVER! – I have been going to Barbara for 7 years... I cannot recommend her enough. When I want an instant mood lift I go see Barbara for a touch up. The cost is so reasonable too. !
Peter is a great colorist! – I have not been happy with my color for several years, and decided to find a new colorist. I remembered Peter from his days as a more junior colorist at another salon, as he always seemed to be customer focused and conscientious about his work. I found him at Miwa Alex, and now I could not be more happy with my color. He took a long time to determine what he would do to address my concerns, and the result of his efforts are perfect. I will not lose track of him again!
Lovin' the Look! – Peter Ripley is a color genius!! I walked in and he turned a color disaster into a gorgeous head of hair. Barbara gave me a cute cut, and now I have friends and strangers raving about my "new" hair! Thank you both. xo - Karen

Best Serivce Ever! – Recently moved to the Big Apple and found myself desperate for a new look. Through a recommendation, I booked an appointment with Regina for a color and cut. So far this has been my FAVORITE experience since my big move. I was completely flustered, had no idea what I wanted, basically a stylist worst night...argh. great hair – I went to see Regina on Saturday after my friend meet me for drinks last Thursday with the cutest short cut .She was so sweet and took quiet a bit of time with me I've had long hair for a while and was feeling board I thought I'd have to go shorter for a big change she told me if I'm not ready for that DON'T go short . We left it long with soft long layers and I feel so good .My shampoo on the lay down bed was so relaxing .Thank You Regina
A great salon and a terrific value – Having been a customer since the salon opened, it is consistently one of my happiest experiences. It starts with great service -- the stylists are first rate, they are friendly and put you first. The relaxing shampoo "beds" are a great way to unwind, as you get your hair washed. My worst experience with a salon ever – I am 64 years old, and this is the first time I have ever written a public complaint, so you can imagine how bad my experience must have been. Peter Ripley: A Color Genius – It is incredibly difficult to find a colorist in new york city that is worth the price. I have been all over this city searching for a person that could give me beautiful blonde highlights that I really enjoy going to see.
