Peter and Mauricio are the best – i get cut, color and keratin treatment hear. peter for color, and mauricio for cut and treatment. i followed them to Miwa-Alex and so happy i did. the salon is lovely and the staff extremely nice. massage-like tables for shampooing. much more comfortable than any salon chair. Always a good experience.

Peter Creates Great Color – I am an artist - a painter to be exact - so I feel that I have good judgment when it comes to color and design. I came to Peter when I moved to New York City a few years ago and it was love at first coloring. Peter transformed my color - from what I thought I had liked - to the most natural, bright, healthy hair I've ever had in my years of seeing hairdressers all over the world. Peter is an artist also - so rest assured that he will create fine art with your hair!

Nathalie is great – I have been coming to Nathalie since 1995. In all that time I can honestly say she has always given me a quality haircut. With her skill and sense of style I never worry. When i left New York and moved to london for a few years, I made special trips to NYC just to get my hair cut from her! When i moved back a few years ago, i was so glad to reconnect and find Nathalie at Miwa Alex. I cannot imagine going to anyone else for a hair cut....she is just great.

Natalie is worth double – I've been having Natalie cut my hair since 1992. She either does exactly what I want or tells me flat-out it's not a good idea and why it's not a good idea. Her precision and dedication is easy to spot -- she'll keep fine-tuning your cut well after your hour has expired if there's no other appointment waiting. And no one will frame your face better. Just try to find that kind of service anywhere at even double the cost: you won't.

The Talented Twosome - Mauricio and Peter – I've been seeing Mauricio and Peter for my cut and color for almost a year now and I have never been happier with my hair. I came to them after a few dye disasters with other hairdressers and what Peter did for my color and texture was no less than a miracle. Mauricio gave me shape and movement that I have never experienced with a haircut. Run, run, and run to see these two miracle workers – you will love them as much as me.

Peter Ripley is wonderful! – I adore my colorist, Peter Ripley. My blond highlights are bright and beautiful and never goes brassy. He has gotten me to a place where I don’t have to go into the salon every 6 weeks because of roots; but instead I can extend my visits because of his expertise of blending in my natural color – naturally. Peter Ripley is fabulous! – I can't say enough about how amazing Peter is! Peter's sense of style and color is always spot on. Everytime I leave the salon I am thrilled with the color. By the way, Miwa Alex is a wonderful salon, charming and fashionable come to mind which is also how I would describe Peter. Also on the amazing list is a Keritan treatment by Peter. Nathalie is the one and only... – one who knows how to cut my hair! Seriously...I've lived in NYC for 10 years and after many disastrous and/or questionable experiences, I saw Nathalie and got the best cut of my LIFE. My hair is hard to get to know, I've found, because it's curly on top and in front but straighter in the back...very thick. I would die without this woman cutting my hair.
