Mitchell’s Ice Cream opened for business on June 6, 1953. Larry and Jack Mitchell’s goal was to make the very best ice cream in San Francisco. The Mitchells started out with nineteen flavors; all made with 16% butterfat cream and superior ingredients. Best ice cream I've ever had!! The only thing that sucks is the long wait. Even at 10:30 pm. But it's because they're amazing! ���
If you're in the Bay Area, this place is a must. The Lucuma, Macapuno, and Passion Fruit are out of this world. Wish they had the Passion fruit year round but I totally understand.
I got their Shake of the Month. The cheesecake bites on top were FANTASTIC!

I've been enjoying Mitchell's since I was a kid and it has never disappointed. Thankful for the great Ube ice cream there :)
Must be really good if there's a line out the door. When you get there, get a number. Until your number gets called look at the menu. There's so many flavors. By the time they called us up, I was still somewhat undecided. I wanted to try them all! Well I settled for a scoop of espresso and a scoop of caramel chocolate crunch. Both were great, but the caramel chocolate crunch was memorable. Definitely would get that again! Can't wait to go back!
Always consistent in quality and taste a favorite of mine for well over 20 years...
