My husband was treated by excellent nurses & doctors. Forever thankful for them.
Mission billed me $5K above their original estimate for a routine procedure. My insurance company insisted it was excessive and wouldn't pay. I asked Mission for an explanation and got none, instead they turned the bill over to a collection agency, which also treated me like crap.
I hope Ron Paulus sleeps well at night with his 750,000.00 income plus bonuses and benefits and never has to declare bankruptcy over medical bills. I hope he does not have an autistic child who has been treated by Mission Children's Hospital for 10 years and now has to pay 150.00 per visit instead of 30.00 copayment. Mission Healthcare system you should be so proud of yourself, and did I say thank you too!
So disappointed in the Mission/BCBS debacle that has made my doctor of 20 years out of network for me. Also, I needed to have a CT scan today and wasted a whole day trying to find somewhere in network for me. Multiple phone calls to BCBS and a visit to a Mission facility, and no one can tell you how much a CT scan costs at a Mission facility. Open MRI had an exact price in minutes.
