Mission Hospital is in network for my insurance, but Mission spends a lot of money advertising Mission My Care Now, which I found out the hard and expensive way, isn’t in network for my insurance. Why does it have to be so complicated? I think Mission has gotten too big for their own good. They almost have a monopoly in WNC.
Mission Health offers sub-standard care coupled with ancillary services that are broken from the bottom-up. TWICE NOW I have been billed for the amount MH discounts their rate to BCBS. Since I have met my annual out-of-pocket maximum, I should be receiving NO bills with outstanding balances from Mission. Instead, TWICE NOW I have had to try and get Mission to fix the system to reflect a zero balance due, as opposed to the TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS they are mistakenly showing. I’m so disappointed your number on your website is disconnected. We have been told all day we would meet with Home health praying my Mom would be discharged on Tues but it’s tough to wait for the Case Manager and your Dept to reach out. Would you kindly provide us with a valid phone number?
