Mission overcharges its patients, then takes four to six weeks to issue a refund. They are certainly quick to take your money. Giving it back, not so much. Right now Mission owes me over $3500. They demanded this money from me when I was diagnosed with cancer. I have good insurance through Blue Cross. Yet, they insisted I pay $3,374 for an MRI. They billed Blue Cross only $2688. My portion should have been $389. Again, when I needed a bone scan, they charged me $544.46. Blue Cross paid it all. I owed them nothing. How do the... read more
Sat in the waiting room with a severe migraine....blurred vision, ringing ears, throwing up....gor over 2 hours and was NEVER registered let alone seen. There was a young man with a large gash in his leg, bleeding all over the floor, that came in right before me and he hadn't been seen either. Seems to be a major disconnect with registration and er staff. Once you can somehow get back to a room you get great care. But the staff out front seem hell bent in keeping people from bring seen. Karma, what goes around comes around. Poor treatment of employees, low morale. Profits should be reinvested in employees and not management, or building new buildings, upgrade the ones you have. Clean up the main hospital, too much staph, MRSA, etc. Upgrade some of your old equipment. Fire Paulus. Stop bullying other practices into the Mission monopoly.
