A poor excuse for a letting agency. Even the building looks dodgy. They push for video viewings claiming loads of interest from other people. They hide things that are wrong with the property and when you complain they try to catch you with legal jargon they don't even understand! One of the worst letting companies ever. A friend asked me if I’d recommend them the other day and I thought back and decided to write a review. They are very helpful when they want you to rent a very expensive room. They prey on students usually and convince them to sign extortionate contracts The first week, their “painter” split white paint over my mint condition birthday guitar. Mind The Flat are very professional and dedicated to finding the right place for you. I highly recommend them.
If I could give Mind the Flat more than 5 stars, I would. The level of customer service exceeds my expectations. All staff are super friendly and helpful and have always been super supportive to me and my sister. My sister and I have had our fair share of working with incompetent companies (they shall remain nameless) and to work with Mind the Flat, is such a breath of fresh air for us. I stayed there for 2 years, they are nice at the start and then levied charges not in the lease agreement. They Section 21’ed us for no reason, did minimal work to the house, and put it back on the market for £300-400 more per month, forcing us to move out. Oh and I left a previous review on here that they falsely reported, so don’t trust the positive reviews they solicit from new renters. Avoid at all costs!
