Dr. Zgonis and his Physician Assistant Lisa, are both professional, knowledgeable and excellent medical expert’s. They answered every question and concern I had down to every detail of my surgery process pre and post surgery. I was operated on Tuesday and walking to therapy by Thursday. I would highly recommend Dr. Zgonis.
Doctor was informed and very informative about my options for treatment. I left feeling much better about my options moving forward. I really appreciated his feedback.
Dr. Zgonis is outstanding, as is Lisa, the PA. Having had less than stellar experiences with doctors and hospitals, Dr. Z and his team are a breath of fresh air. Caring, compassionate, understanding and patient, I happened upon this practice because they accepted my insurance. Penn Medicine’s reputation precedes it and is well-deserved!
Dr. Zgonis is a thoughtful and caring physician. He is very skilled yet doesn't jump into surgical procedures. As in my case, he said, " If it were me, I would not have the surgery". You don't hear that too often from a surgeon! I trust him and will continue to rehab my ACL as suggested with out surgical intervention.
Dr. Zgonis and his staff were quick and proficient to diagnose the cause of my recent pain and to get me started on the path to recovery, I look forward to future visits with Dr. Zgonis at Penn Orthopedics.👍
