Incredibly personable and insightful physiotherapist. Not only have I made good progress with my shoulder injury after seeing Mike, I also learn something new every time I see him. Also very helpful outside of appointments, answering my queries in good time.

I went to Mike with an elbow issue, having never seen specialist before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, other than my elbow feeling better. I wasn’t sure greeted with a warm, welcoming smile which instantly put me at ease. We talked through my issue and before I knew it we had unlocked Mike the encyclopaedia. I have been taking my teenage daughter to see Mike for a few months now, following a dance injury to her lower back and also a hip complaint. Not only is Mike highly professional and clearly an expert in his field, he is very welcoming and put my daughter at ease straight away. He explains, at high level, exactly what he believes the issue to be and is very clear & precise on the rehabilitation process. Mike has been a hugely positive force in the journey to get my daughter back to doing what she loves most.

I have been a classical guitar player all my life. I originally damaged my back severely when I was 18 playing professional cricket, at 23 I had my back in a plaster cast for six months, such was the severity of my back problems. I am now 57. My back problem became so severe, over the last three years I have three major spinal operations including spinal decompression and disc removal, which still left me in a great deal of pain. I am working with Mike to help get movement and strength back into my shoulder, following a rotator cuff injury and a likely frozen shoulder. I had previously been seeing a private physio, and also went along to Mike for hands on treatment. However, I have found Mikes knowledge to be just as good, or even superior to the physio’s. I also receive dry needling and deep tissue massage AND benefit from his expertise in strength training.
