content://media/external/file/17737 this vehicle was deemed repairable by statefarm yet my attorney said it was totalled! Maybe statefarm needs to rethink their expenditures on tv commercials! James ** *******

After almost 20 years of being a State Farm customer, I will be moving on to another insurance carrier. I took my car to be repaired at a State Farm preferred body shop after a collision with a deer. Traumatizing! The repair shop didn’t submit all the needed repairs to State Farm in an effort to cut corners and still do the work just barely under the threshold of my vehicle being totaled. When I went to pick up my car, the engine light was on, my instrument panel wasn’t working, and my sunroof liner was still sagging inside ... read more

I would give them a zero if I could. I had a raccoon run out in front of my Feb 16th 2023 and my rental is suppose to be returned March 10th and I am still fighting with the insurance I have full coverage and they don't want to pay for the damages. The estimate is $4200 and they only want to pay $2000. I have to call them almost every day because they will not communicate with the body shop. We have sent in everything they wanted and they say we didn't get it but yet we have proof. They are saying the delay is our fault but ... read more

If you ever get in a car accident with a State Farm insured customer, just know they will continue to lie to you and make up stories to deny liability. A State Farm insured customer hit my car while he was making a left turn and they came up with every story in the book to keep saying that their customer was not liable. I know that every insurance company advocates for their customers, but when presented with clear evidence to prove their customer is lying, they still wouldn't change their liability decision. I would never c... read more

I was always told not to go through State Farm due to all the problems that people were having. I should have listened to them. My son ended up running over a piece of wood that had fallen on the highway (he could not avoid it due to cars on both sides of him) so he basically had to drive over it. It ended up giving him a flat tire as well as damaging the plastic piece under his car. He called State Farm Road Side Assistance and they had a tow that was headed our way. The tow apparently stopped 12 minutes away and just staye... read more

I have been with this company for over 30 years and I have never dealt with this incompetence. It's truly a shame.

State Farm Insurance doesn’t pay for the full damage to repair your vehicle after an accident. The client has to pay the difference. They gave different reasons for not paying each time I called, ex. part not needed, the part cost too much, too many hours, etc. I was told by the claim department to take my Mercedes Benz to ******** ****to have it repaired. Now they are saying that the shop charged too much, etc. I had to pay $1,247.15 plus $500 deductible to get my vehicle back after 5 months. I have been a client with State... read more

Brad Carpenter never bothered to reply when their self-service website errored out. I was trying to open an IRA. I will find some place friendlier, more caring, and easier to do business with. I talked to Brad years ago when he took over the local office that Rachel Chandler-Head used to run. He spoke to me like he owned me. He was very arrogant, rude, and self absorbed. I eventually plan to switch local offices and maybe a better company all together.

By far the worst company, they raised my auto policy bill from $140 to $210 overnight with no explanation. I will be sure to cancel my policy and never come back
