I really wish I could give state farm a negative. There customers service is the very worst. All they di is give you a big run around when it come to your bill ever month my bill has been going up January when I got my new car o I was quoted $88. A month February it went up to $126. Amonth which they say is an increase. Now I got my bill and its $133. Terrible company to work with. Barn fire feb 3rd 2023 adjuster showed up a week later. I have talked to him ONCE since then. NO ONE RETURNS PHONE CALLS!!! I have equipment in the snow and rain because I can’t fix anything or rebuild until I settle with them. They can’t wait for you to pay your premiums but when you make one claim in 23 years they disappear!
I am very upset my pipes burst when it was cold ceiling fell in , call state farm and what for sent me a check for 1,700.00 and my carpet mess up walls everything it cost me 3,000.00 the fix my ceiling not counting , the walls and floors. my money again and than they call me today to say they cancel my home owners insurance, as a insurance company you can't be more lower than that and I being paying them , for over 20 years , and they put a limit on me to tell you can only have so many claims , they are freakin kidding me. r... read more
State farm is very deceiving, when it comes to explaining to customers there policy information. I had the misfortune of been one of them, after soliciting me over and over again, I decided to hear what they have to said, they quoted me a lower policy, after transferring my insurance to them everything they told me was a lie. Never recommend to do business with this company
State Farm is a wast of money. They wouldn’t cover my rental vehicle after my policy limit even though they wasted two week of my coverage to get my car to the body shop. They said it wasn’t their fault even though it was their tow department that wouldn’t send a tow truck to pick up my car. They rip you off. You will have to pay to fix their mistakes!
Price wise they beat out the company I had previously had for 8 years by over $1000/yr. on my homeowner's policy which is why I initally switched 8 years ago. Everything was ok until we bought a new car and had a claim. Instead of adding the new car as instructed, in person, having explained "adding, not replacing" multiple times, the agent dropped the coverage on my car and replaced it with the coverage on the new car, unbeknownst to me for two weeks. They are good for collecting your money and they are also good for denying when you file a damage claim on property.
I have been with State Farm for over 30 years and I accidentally backed into someone’s door on their car. I get told at the time of the accident that my rates probably won’t go up because it’s very little damage but guess what they went up by $60 a month for my very first accident. If this is a good neighbor I’d hate to see a bad one! I paid my insurance but I won’t be keeping them! No customer loyalty.
