Dr. Afar earned his DDS and Master of Science in Oral Biology from UCLA School of Dentistry and received the California State Fellowship, Hortense Fishbaugh's Fellowship and a coveted NIH Dentist-Scientist Fellowship that enabled him to continue his studies in the fields for periodontology and oral implantology. He obtained his specialty degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Every staff member at the office is both professional and kind. By a long shot - they are my favorite dental team. I trust them and youâre not just a ânumberâ to them. They really listen to your concerns. Especially great: Dr. Afar, Dr. Morim, Dr. Kakoli.
I visited them for a yearly dental cleaning included in my insurance. The dentist reviewed to verify I did not have any cavity and after that did the cleaning in 30 minutes. I did not have to wait to be attended and the team at the reception was nice
Dr Nancy made me feel assured and confident in her. Dr Afar has alway gone above and beyond for over 16 years of needed dental care for me, an anxious patient. Tori has also provided exceptional care on the records and customer end. Azi, my hygienist, couldn't be better. Thank you !
