The urologist Dr Michael Curtis needs to be fired. He operates on patients then does not return phone calls. Receptionist hung up on patient sufferering after waiting 48 hrs for a call back. called back and was told by LINDA she had to help patient checking in rather than patient in ignored pain past 3 days.... patient was forced to go to CMMC to be treated for surgical complications. While visiting Maine for my Grandmother’s funeral in September, I was transported by ambulance to Mid Coast Hospital. I was inpatient from Thursday thru Saturday. Staff was amazing, prompt, professional, kind, upbeat, knowledgeable, and honest. They worked hard to prepare me for a flight home to Wisconsin, where they already made arrangements for a surgery at my local hospital. So many staff members went out of their way for both my husband and I!
I have always been pleased with the service here. My husband and I both have had procedures done here, and been treated in the E.R. The staff was kind, helpful, and professional. I would highly recommend this hospital.
horrible experience in ER with my 84 year old mother. will definitely be filling a complaint.
Both my husband and I have been patients at Mid Coast in the past. We both have received great care and will continue to use the hospital. The ER experiences have been good as well. Understanding we receive the care and attention as the illness/issues warrant helps. No complaints here.
On June 26 at about 3 am I was seen in the ER for abdominal pain that woke me up in the night. I saw a Dr. who pushed on my belly and I was clearly in pain. He asked if I had a ride and I said no. He said well you how a 6 hour lay over because he was going to give me pain medication and send me home. He left.... he came back and I said no that something was really wrong.
