Consultation for breast cancer conservation surgery. From first phone call with staff, it felt like they were already a part of my team. Dr. Chu explains options like a surgeon should. There was no comparison of explanation from my first-opinion surgeon and Dr. Chu's second opinion. Referral to plastic surgeon was excellent. More later after after procedure.
Visit wonderful, care outstanding . Larena, the Medical Assistant was wonderful. She was kind, compassionate and understanding of my fear and anxieties. When she removed my drains, the pain was minimal due to her skill, The Medical Assistant who checked me in to the office was also polite, friendly and compassionate. Dr. Chu is highly regarded in our community and was recommended by my PMD. Multiple friends and acquaintances with personal experience of Dr Chu’s care reinforced the excellence of her care. My experience of breast conservation surgery for cancer was the best I could have hoped. Dr. Chu coordinated with a plastic surgeon for a seamless surgery. Dr. Chu was my breast cancer surgeon. She did an incredible job explaining my cancer and the procedures needed for surgery. She managed my surgery with high attention to detail. My radiologist was very impressed with the surgery and indicated it was in the top 5% of what he has seen. Dr. Chu removed my port pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Chu!!!
I’m diagnosed with a malignant tumor in my left breast. Her nurse was not friendly at all and then Dr Chu came in. She was rude and disrespectful. When she asked us a question she didn’t let us explain but cut us off with curt remarks like “if I looked at every mole we’d be here all day”. She had no empathy whatsoever and made us feel intimidated. She was extremely condescending. I highly do not recommend Dr Chu to touch you with a ten foot pole.
She was my surgeon for breast cancer. She explains what she will be doing. Is professional and understanding of your concerns and feelings. During your visits she makes you feel as though y to see another patient. ou are her only patient of the day not that she has to rush out or the room.
I had my chemo port removed today,. I WAS SO SCARED.!! Doctor Chu is so compassionate and professional. The procedure took no time at all! Her assistant Lorraine is Awesome as well.. Thank you Doctor Chu.. EASY PEASY!!!!! Kelly W.
She treated me badly my very first appointment with her..was it my hair, my cloths? I don't know. 5 minutes into the appointment I was so shooken up I couldn't even speak. I wouldn't recommend her to my dog let alone another person. No thanks.
