Umbilical Hernia repair
I highly recommend Dr Michelle Chu and her office staff. It was easy to get an appointment. The doctor was professional and efficient. The surgery went very well. The follow up appointment was wonderful. She treated my sister and I as if we were friends and she answered all our questions. Her receptionist Cindy was friendly and chatted with us as there was no one else in the waiting room. For an anxious diagnosis, it was made as friendly and reassuring as possible.
Dr. Chu made something very difficult easy for me and my family. Excellent surgeon with a great staff.
Dr. Chu is an amazing provider and surgeon. She spends a lot of time on patient education before the procedure and is extremely thorough and detailed oriented in her approach which is exactly what you want from a surgeon!
She was awesome. Very good at what she does and unlike a lot of other surgeons, she actually has incredible bed side manor!
Today I went in for a port removal. The procedure was very fast and easy. Dr. Chu told me what she was go happen . I was able to hold a conversation during the procedure. The removal was fast and painless. The worst part was being numbed for the procedure. It just like getting numbed at the dentist. I was able to drive myself. Lorena Suarez was very comforting, she held my arm during the hold procedure and made sure that I was steady and able to walk out of the office.
Dr. Chu is one of the most caring and kind physicians you will ever have the pleasure of meeting! She is knowledgeable, professional, and very, very friendly. The office is extremely well run! I have never sat for more than 10-15 minutes. The office staff is kind and funny, and has a very lovely way of making you feel comfortable, even when you know your diagnosis is not the best. Dr. Chu is extremely kind, very thorough and explains the surgical needs and processes in an easy to understand way. She puts the patient at ease and encourages questions.
I've seen Dr. Chu 3 times since November 2020. She's a rock star surgically. ALL office is incredibly helpful and sweet. Scheduling a breeze. Dr. Chu answers all questions and more. She cares enough to spend the time you need. She's got great follow-through. Am so glad she's on my team.
