Serving splendid Italian fare, Michelangelo is a popular dining spot for locals who like to relax in its hospitable ambience and linger over a plate of pasta or a warm bowl of soup. The Pollo Fiorentina made from chicken marinated in Marsela wine and cheese, Burrata or garlic bread with cheese and the classic Spaghetti and Meatballs are traditional favorites. The bar is cozy and serves a good selection of wine that perfectly complements the food. The staff is friendly and makes the diners feel at home in the venue. Michelang... read more

Laughable – I can't even get into how depressing the reviews below are. Judging from them, the authors have either never visited Italy, or perhaps Brooklyn. Suffice it to say my recent visit to this restaurant was hugely disappointing. To call what is offered here Italian food is to call an ice cube hot. It just ain't so. My rigatoni ragu was an absolute joke. The meat? Think Chef Boyardee. We're talking soggy and suspicious flecks of purported ground beef. The sauce? Along the lines of the too-sweet tang of the SpaghettiO's... read more
Best food, best people all together just the best – these guys have been around for quit some time now. they always made an efford to grow and make things better. the place is unique kind of hand made.. that is the charm of this resturant.. nothing prtetentious... I love it, I love the people and off course the food
Great Neighborhood Place – Very Good Food. Wonderful Pizza. Expect a pleasant surprise! Don't miss Dessert, totally amazing and creative.
All time favorite place! – This is my favorite restaurant in LA. The food is extremely fresh (their pasta is handmade daily), the service is impeccable (a small family run restaurant), and the decor is well designed and very clean. I always look forward to eating here--everything is so good! Try their ravioli dishes and their calamari (it's just lightly breaded and incredibly flavorful). The bill can be a little pricey, but it is well worth it! Michelangelo is a hidden gem!
Nice pie...better than Casa Bianca – I have a review here on Casa Bianca in Eagle Rock..this place kicks but and it offers freindly service at reasonable prices...
Just like Italy! – This place is not too fancy, but has great pizza and pasta and friendly staff. It has a casual, relaxed atmosphere and you feel welcomed like a regular customer on your first visit. It felt just like a neighborhood pizzeria in Italy.
An Italian says: This is the only real Italian food in LA. – I am an Italian from San Francisco, land of Cioppino and Panama Canal ravioli. When I moved to LA the one thing I really lamented was the fact that there were no good Italian restaurants in the city (Okay, I am quite a skeptic, being that I was raised by my Italian Papa, who would make homemade potato gnocchi and Crab Cioppino for Natale). There's a lot of fake Italian food in LA (with Italian sounding Mafioso names), of which I could get the same quality out of a ... read more
Lovely place, nice service, good food – I had a lovely experience in that restaurant. We had three Pasta Dishes, they were all good but Da bomb are the Mushroom Gnocci!!! mmmhhhh The Tiamisu didn't blow me away. The staff is very friendly. i will go back there
Best Italian Food and Service Ever – I have to say this place is truely awsome. My boyfriend is Italian and very hard to please when it comes to italian food, but this place he absolutly adores. The best gniocci, ever. I've never had anything bad there. I wouldn't recommend dining with more htan 6-8 because the resaurant is a bit cozy. The atmosphere is very romantic, but it was also great when we bought our 6 yr old daughter, too. The wait staff treats everyone like extended family. I definantly recommend this place.
