There are many different forms of conservative treatment, which if possible, should be performed prior to surgical intervention. My extensive surgical training has allowed me to become a leader in the advancement of Foot and Ankle Surgery. My publications include but are not limited to topics on flatfoot reconstruction, ankle instability, and high arch reconstruction.

He is one of a kind. Very patient doctor. He listens to all my questions. I would recommend Dr.Maskill to anybody. And, he has great bedside manners (always making me laugh) and is very serious about his work.

I have a condition called Eilers Danlos syndrome, my ankles are rolling over at 45? I was at the point to ware I would have been in a wheelchair, I went to Dr Mskell in 2015 for my ankles he did lateral reconstruction surgery on my right ankle in May of 2015 and I just got my left one done in April of this year, and the ankle is strong. I have been praying for this for a long time he is a God Sent thank you Dr. Markell and your Team God Bless You
My son broke his ankle in three places and shredded his ligament. After Bronson told us it was a sprain and admitted to making numerous mistakes we changed doctors to Dr. Maskill upon a friends recommendation. We were given a quick appointment time and immediately felt confident in Dr. Maskill. He was thorough, listened to us and explained everything! My 14 year old son had surgery in January and is playing with his travel baseball team now. He has zero pain. We are so happy!!!
I had a fracture fusion done by Dr Ream at Borgess. The surgery was botched, I needed a 2nd opinion and was referred to Dr Maskill. Three surgeries later ( to remove hardware, do a triple fusion, and a tune up to remove some hardware and excess bone. Dr Maskill repaired a foot that I thought was permanently damaged. There is no way I can thank Dr Maskill enough in this paragraph for the small miracle he performed on my foot. Thank you! He is as good as it gets!!!
This is one amazing doctor!!! He did an arch reconstruction on my right foot a year ago and I had some unusual problems with that foot later. He fixed those problems in February of this year (2016). He is the MOST caring and concerned doctor I know!!! I wish he could be my all around doctor. He listens so carefully and took care of all my cares and concerns. How Awesome is that!!!! His staff is just as amazing too. They are all such hard working and caring people. Thank you!!
Dr. Maskill made me feel very comfortable right away. He explained everything he was going to do, and let me ask questions about my particular condition. He gave me time to decide if I wanted to go ahead with the procedure. The P. A. also was very welcoming,and the rest of the staff made me comfortable. I have already given some friends his telephone number and they have had appointments with him. All in all I have been please with the services I have received.
