I believe it is very important to have a careful evaluation looking at the patient both clinically and biomechanically. There are many different forms of conservative treatment, which if possible, should be performed prior to surgical intervention. My extensive surgical training has allowed me to become a leader in the advancement of Foot and Ankle Surgery. My publications include but are not limited to topics on flatfoot reconstruction, ankle instability, and high arch reconstruction.

Dr. Maskill was refreshingly approachable. He took the time to listen and explore possible theories. He was thorough and asked good questions. I told my wife "that was the best doctor's appointment I've had in a long time."
They provide service worthy of a smile!
Great overall experience. The entire staff was extremely helpful in getting me back on my feet!
My daughter has seen Dr. Maskill multiple times for different injuries. The office staff was always very friendly and helpful. Dr. Maskill put my daughter at ease, was thorough in his examination and explanation. She's back on her feet playing soccer and cross country.
I made my first visit because of pain in one foot. After draining my pocket of $600.00 and my insurance company of over $1000.00 I still have my original pain and new pain in both of my feet. Does not listen to patient. I can no longer walk across the street to visit neighbor.
Business response:
I am so sorry that this was your experience. We would love the chance to make it right. Please give our office a call to schedule an appointment.
I work with Dr. Maskill as his physician assistant and feel fortunate to do so. He is one of the most caring and compassionate physicians I have encountered. When I began having calf pain and plantar fasciitis, we worked through several conservative treatment options together for about 6 months before deciding together surgery (gastroc recession) would be the best option. I had surgery about 2.5 months ago and have been pain free since. I am back to my active lifestyle again and very grateful.
Dr. Maskill is a true expert on the foot and ankle. Young, yes but very experienced and also cares about doing a great job! I went to South Bend Orthopaedics for a second opinion after my foot injury and surgery and they were not only impressed with the results that Dr. Maskill provided to me, they even went on to say he did a great and "impressive" job given the severity of my injury. YOU WILL NOT REGRET CHOOSING DR. MASKILL!!!!
I was given an appointment very quickly within days of calling. Dr. Maskill's staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about my condition. Dr. Maskill was kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. He explained my options and the pros and cons. I was very please with my visit and care. I would recommend Dr. Maskill to anyone who is having foot problems.
Dr. Maskill is the best podiatry representative of patient priority quality care. His surgical skills are unmatched by others in his field. He takes the time to explain what is needed, a timeline for what you can expect should it be a surgery (always the patient's choice) and he works to make sure those goals are met with minimal impact on each and every patient in his care. I have never had a more focused medical professional whose personality fits into every situation from child to adult.
