I appreciated Dr. Sailer working with me to schedule the surgery at my convenience. He was very thorough explaining ahead of time what to expect during surgery and afterwards. I trusted Dr. Sailer's judgement at all times during this process, as it was obvious he had my best interest in mind. The area for improvement would be the check-in process at time of surgery and during follow-up appointments. Dr. Sailer is so easy to talk to, he gets to the point and doesn't paint a grey picture, very black and white, which I like as a patient. He just wants to make sure he's taking care of the patient vs. trying to push an agenda like some doctors do.

Warm and caring. As a healthcare provider myself I found him receptive and open to hearing about my physical issue as well as taking my families challenges. I feel very confident in recommending Dr. Silar.

Knowledgeable, personable. Expert on knee replacements and shoulder surgery.

Dr. Sailer has performed rotator- cuff surgery on both my shoulders, five years apart. I was referred to him when I got his name from a number of physical therapists. They said that of all the surgical patients they see, his regain full range of motion faster, because he makes sure that they will before he closes the surgery. It is absolutely true. He is meticulous, and he cares a lot. I had gotten a second opinion for the first surgery, but going with Dr. Sailer was a very wise choice. He is also not inclined to recommend s... read more
