With degenerating disk syndrome I have had 2 surgeries in the past 4 years! I trust Dr. Goldsmith with my life! He is the "gold standard" of surgeons-very skilled with an empathetic and caring nature! He explains your issue clearly and methodically! Overall one of the best doctors I have seen!

Dr Goldsmith is a great doctor. I need back surgery coming up and before he want me to try every type of non surgical treatment. He is not the type of doctor where you say ouch and go right into surgery, of course if your X-rays and MRIs say you need surgery right away he will. Unfortunately nothing helped for me but have to get spinal fusion. As a chronic arthritis sufferer, I owe Mike Goldsmith a great deal, including my locomotion. I've worked withvhimk for 12 years, and not only hasve his reuslts been outstanding, but I have referred frinds to him whom he told surgical options wouldn't help. He is not just intelligent but thoughtful, not just dedicated but caring. Worth a consult!

Dr. Goldsmith is truly the Gold Standard in his profession. Not only in technical skills but also in his emotional connection with you when trying to understand the problem and then in explaining to you what is going on. He listens to you Diagnoses. Recommends treatment options. He is a doctor's doctor. Oh, and he has a great personality. He knows how to put you at ease. I appreciate that. Good work Doc.

It was quickly clear to Dr. Goldsmith that I wasn't a candidate for surgery or additional treatment by him, but he spent a more than reasonable amount of time explaining my condition, why he wasn't going to do anything invasive and how to proceed. I found myself with confidence in his explanation and his attitude - nothing dismissive or arrogant, just a nice person with a lot of knowledge & excellent communication skills.

Dr. Goldsmith did my cervical fusion. He was recommended to me by my neurologist. Before the surgery he was excellent about seeing me at the last minute and he got me a very quick MRI appointment before a trip I was supposed to take. He explained everything to me and was very responsive. I felt confident when he did my surgery.
