I immediately knew that Dr Hsu was the perfect fit for me. He carefully walked me through the procedure making me feel comfortable and not rushed. But beyond that, it was his bedside manners that sealed the deal. After the procedure, he came by to once again check on me but here is where he once again really shined. While performing the hernia repair, he found another issue on my liver. He indicated that he biopsied the questionable area and asked if it was OK to proceed with its testing. Outstanding! That was the care I received from Dr. Hsu, his staff and the UF Flagler Hospital outpatient surgical team who cared for me! Dr. Hsu was professional, quick to find the problem and very caring. The staff responded by getting me onto the surgical schedule immediately and I received treatment without delay. Before and after surgery, he and his staff were available for consultation at all times, even during the holidays! Thank you Dr. Hsu, Danielle and the UF Flagler Hospital team!
Dr Hsu saw me when I was admitted to Flagler Hospital with a blocked small intestine. He preformed surgery the next morning on Sat morning - his day off. Excellent results Top notch Dr. I highly recommend him.
He explained everything he was going to do and what the recovery would be. Very good at what he does. Did my hernia surgery ,was in and out and home same day.

We were in Saint Augustine for vacation from Virginia. When I suffered a surgical emergency Dr Hsu was beyond exceptional. He explained everything to me and my husband, and he took amazing care of me.!
He made me feel like a person not someone who wanted to poke and prod. Made me feel really comfortable and talked me through everything. If I need any kind of surgical problem I’m going straight to him.
Dr Hsu performed two surgeries on me in April, I’ve never had surgery before and I had 100% trust and confidence in him. He took great care of me, he came to my room to talk to me personally every day in the hospital during my recovery period. I continued to follow up with him in his office for two months post surgeries, excellent staff, excellent communication and care. I highly recommend Dr Hsu!
