After having a routine laparoscopy from another Dr, I was in excruciating pain in the hospital for days. As soon as Dr Hsu saw me he immediately took me into surgery. He found a small hole in my intestines and repaired it. Dr Hsu is a compassionate, knowledgeable, and skilled Surgeon. Dr Hsu listened when others did not and as a result, saved my life.
After years of suffering with diverticulitis and two hospitalizations within three months of each other, losing 45 pounds because I could not eat, and one last very serious infection requiring antibiotics even after hospital release, I finally opted to have my sigmoid colon removed. Thank God I was referred to Dr. Hsu. I do believe I probably would not have survived another year. Dr. Michael Hsu is the best! After an unexpected trip to the ER, I learned I had Gallstones and Dr. Hsu was recommended by the ER Doctor. Dr. Hsu clearly explained my problem and recommended surgery for removal of the gallbladder vs managing by diet alone. Dr. Hsu did not push the surgery, but told me to consider it.
