I just had my 2nd surgery with Dr. Hsu and I wouldn’t use any other surgeon ever again! Not only is he efficient to make sure he has eliminated the problem you are having, he is the nicest, friendliest, most caring surgeon I’ve ever had (and I’ve had 9 previously). My most recent surgery was on a Friday and he actually called me himself on Saturday to check on me. After having emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix, Dr. Michael Hsu was my surgeon. Dr. Hsu was very caring, professional and informative. His bedside manner was spectacular. Without a doubt, I was be so comfortable recommending Dr. Hsu to my family and friends. Thank you Dr.
My mom had to have colon surgery and we were so confident in Dr Hsu before the procedure due to the great reviews and testaments. He and his office staff kept me informed since i was unable to visit her in the hospital due to COVID-19. My mom and I both would highly recommend !!
I went in to the E R at Flagler with severe abdominal pain on Friday, June 26th. They contacted Dr Hsu who ordered x-rays and cat scan. He was able to immediately diagnose my problem and was able to schedule surgery by 3 PM on Saturday. I feel his quick diagnosis and skillful surgery saved my life. He communicated the situation to me very clearly and was responsive to my questions. I would recommend him very highly. George Olsen
Dr. Hsu is a great doctor! He has genuine care and concern for his patients. He will walk you through step by step, so don't be afraid to ask questions. As for the surgery, it went well and exceeded my expectations, I highly recommend!

I was seen by Dr. Hsu due to an emergency and i was lucky enough to have my emergency when he was on call. I was taken in by EMS and was pretty out of it due to infection and severe pain. He came in, checked me out, did 2 scans in 12 hours and off to surgery i went. I later found out from everyone (nurses, friends, etc) after they asked who my surgeon was, that he was the Best! i would agree, he had to do a temporary colonoscopy bag on me and was able to reverse it without any issue! outstanding results. pre op...explained every thing that had to be done in a way that was completely understandable. we did not feel rushed. operation went well . Post op . he kept my family in the loop. he was in contact with my wife as soon as operation was over. visited me later that evening as well as the next morning . made daily visits to check on my progress every day I was in hospital.
