When I got cancer of the bladder, The VA did what they had too and helped me immensely. The eye doctor gave me a 20/20 lens when my right eye developed a cataract. So grateful for the care I've received at the VA. A divorce left me without insurance. I just recently found out I qualified for VA healthcare. I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, so I can't express in words how grateful and happy I am with the care I received and the effort the doctors and nurses put thru to get me seen quickly.
VA Miami Hospital: Congratulation to all my peers in nursing field during our week. We work hard to helps the Veterans to get well, to feel confortable while their are in our care. That's our mission and commitment. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

I was a part of this V.A. but I think it is overcrowded with Veterans. West Palm Beach is a 5 star Hospital! !
I like this place!
I live in homestead florida and had to drive to the va hospital in miami because there is no va emergency room in my area. I get there and I was told that because of my emergency along with the lack of staff and equipment I COULD NOT be seen there. That would have been nice to know before taking that drive.
