My Mum lived at Callin Court with for over 6 years and we never found anything but caring kind staff, who went the extra mile in their caring for her. We had no issues with payment or finances. The food was good, we could not fault the care they put in place, which can be as little as 15 mins. Medication can also be managed and administered which Mum found invaluable when she came out of hospital on different and more medication. Mum only had to move as she needed nursing care. I would definitely recommend Callin Court for those with a need for extra help in their day to day management. My mother was a resident there for 5 years and they looked after her brilliantly and continuously reviewed her general needs and suggested changes as and when they believed they were required. Monthly reviews with us as family were great and really helped as we do not live close enough to visit weekly but Michaela and the team were terrific. No idea how to run this place. Wrote what I thought was right when 1st came, but so wrong as take money again for meals paid for even though told him, and told if don't pay will not have help when I need it as will have bad credit score.so paid by cheque and they took out again by standing order 3 times. No answer to letter I sent CEO. 2weeks ago. Don't answer phone calls at derby office. Worse year of my life here . Joyce trueman and pippa. My 3 legged rescue cat, why I'm still here.
