This venue is an outstanding accomplishment, both architecturally and culturally. The hall is the crown jewel of the Arts District downtown, and is noted as having some of the finest acoustics in America. It was opened in 1989 and is hallmarked by the Lay Family Organ. Fantastic music centre, enjoyed a wonderful 250 strong male voice choir.
The acoustic at the Morton H Meyer Symphony is amazing! Jan Lisieki (piano) and Krzysztof Urbański (conductor) were absolutely brilliant!
We are so fortunate the have this magnificent symphony hall along with the Winspear in our art’s district.
