This venue is an outstanding accomplishment, both architecturally and culturally. The hall is the crown jewel of the Arts District downtown, and is noted as having some of the finest acoustics in America. It was opened in 1989 and is hallmarked by the Lay Family Organ. Fantasztikus élmény volt a szilveszteri koncert!
The presentation of Home Alone with the orchestra was 100% wonderful. We attended the Houston Symphony last time they played Home Alone and it didn’t come close to the Meyerson’s production of it. Did not disappoint!
The Meyerson is a Dallas masterpiece. The acoustics are beyond fabulous. This visit we enjoyed Handel's Messiah from the "cheap" seats and were thoroughly amazed. Whether your taste runs to Beethoven or pops you owe it to yourself to experience this world class performance hall. No light shows and amplified distortion...just an incredibly beautiful experience for your ears.
Beautiful facility. Could use some better signage to help new-comers find their destination easier.
Christmas pops for the win! Reginald Smith Jr was amazing! Blessed by the program and the talented musicians and conductor! Bravo!
