This venue is an outstanding accomplishment, both architecturally and culturally. The hall is the crown jewel of the Arts District downtown, and is noted as having some of the finest acoustics in America. It was opened in 1989 and is hallmarked by the Lay Family Organ. All my daughters are members of the CCGD Choir. We love it when they perform here. Very classy.
It was a moving experience to enjoy the music performed by the Dallas Youth Orchestra, accompanied with two outstanding choirs - youth and women’s.
The Christmas program was awesome. The choir was angelic and the director did a great job with both the choir and orchestra.
