This venue is an outstanding accomplishment, both architecturally and culturally. The hall is the crown jewel of the Arts District downtown, and is noted as having some of the finest acoustics in America. It was opened in 1989 and is hallmarked by the Lay Family Organ. The organ rises the full height of the concert chamber behind the stage; it's one of the largest mechanical action organs ever built for a concert hall.
