About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

I stared going to Metzgers with my parents and grandparents in the 50’s..I have traveled all over our country as well as Europe and have yet to find another restaurant with the quality german cuisine as Metzgers I have tried Sauerbraten at other restaurants as recommended on either the travel or food channel..I was sorely disappointed I HIGHLY recommend Metzgers..A 3rd generation family owned restaurant
