About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Amazing food, great service and memorable atmosphere!
We lived in Germany for 2 years. This is the closest I have come to authentic German food since I have been back!! Mmmm.....sauerkraut!!

I love this place, only place I know of where you can get a boot of beer!! Awesome food also.
I grew up on German food (my gandma's, Old German and Metzger's). My husband and I have been frequenting Metzger's more and more recently. The food is excellent. The German Potato salad, spatzen, german meat patties, red cabbage are some of our favorites and now a new favorite is the red cabbage rueben! They also have the best non-alcohol beer.
This place is wonderful! The food is outstanding, the service is outstanding, thank you so much Metzgers for a wonderful experience!
We shared a Wurst Platter with kraut and German fried potatoes. The food was delicious and the service was great and efficient.
