About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

Was a Great lunch on my birthday was triester to strudle to go. Was too full from lunch
Food was so so, service was drop and disappear. Would I go back, no.
If you want great food in a great environment, you really need to come to Metzgers. Every time I go I need multiple entres. Pig hocks? Smoked Shank? Always a difficult choice. Nifflies and kraut, but wait better get the German potato salad too.. Beer: Go with the full stein. Strudel. Beef liver or chicken? Both?
