About this business
In 2001 Metzger's re-opened at its current location on Zeeb Road. The restaurant seats 189 people inside and also offers outdoor seating in our Biergarten. We still serve the same great food in a European atmosphere and the family tradition is still alive and well. The current owner John Metzger works multiple nights a week and his parents Walter and Ruth still enjoy dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

The German potato salad lack authentic taste. All other food was the best we have ever had. I could eat the red cabbage you made every day!
Our first time, very tasty meals, loved the potato pancakes. They were different than I expected but good. I'd stop again.
First time to visit and will not be last. No one greeted us so we sat ourselves. Waitress was slow, but gave great recommendations both for beer and food. Food made up for the slow service, but will not deter from another visit
Food was fantastic! Service could use some improvement though. Fairly certain my server did not like her job...
