After being kicked out of the main area of a bus station shelter (ramp b transit center in downtown mpls) at midnight when buses run through there until 130 am I am so angry with the transit system. You have no reason to kick people out of the waiting area while they are waiting for a bus if they are doing anything wrong.

Public transportation has a lot of inherent issues, this is a relatively good service but there's still a lot of work to be done to make it a decent transportation option. There's nothing wrong with metro transit specifically, the problem is that public transportation in general doesn't receive anywhere near enough funding for it to work as it should.

People have jobs and school to get to and Metro Transit needs to start focusing on that rather than making tourist traps more accessible to people who don't need accessibility. The only good experience I've had with recently with Metro Transit was talking to Mi... read more

Trains don’t even make stops! Less than 30 seconds at both Target Field Locations. Sidewalks are snow packed and slippery during prime commute hours! As you race to a train that doesn’t even make a stop! Their schedule is more important than customer service!
