RecommendedI’ve been a patron of the Merc since the ‘80s. It is and always has been one of the treasures of Denver. From the eclectic decor to the unique menu, it a an experience filled with enjoyment.

The Mercury Cafe has a lot of problems incl chipped wood floor which can ram a large chunk of wood into the skin of your feet, teacher(s) who steal and sell your choreography and potential pedophile connections, and potential food contamination. You may want to ask the F.B.I. what they think about the people related to the Mercury Cafe.
Unique, funky, peaceful vibe. Very creative cooking, baking and drink making. So many cool events upstairs and frequent bonus live music while you dine.
You can find such a variety of events at the Merc! ... my favorites are the Bellydance café nights in the Jungle Room ...
I’ve had breakfast there twice and dinner once. I also went to a poetry reading and a swing dance lesson. Food was always very good and reasonable. The swing band, William and the Romantics was awesome! Good dance lesson for an hour before. Lots of fun.
Always a fun Sunday evening at the “Merc”. This remains a gathering place of all types of city dweller and travelers. Great menu, local music, dance, and poetry events in every room! I’ve been a patron of the Merc for at least 30 years, always enjoy the vibe and the community!
Marylin double booked us for a swing dance and then would not stand behind her mistake and make it right. My people, don't work with this place. Instead of giving us another gig with the same guarantee she tried to switch me to a 90% door deal (when I was going to bring 70-100 people) This isn't my first rodeo Marylin.
