The people are always uniquely awesome, the food is absolutely made with love, the atmosphere is inevitably a magical experience, the entertainment is amazing and unexpected, the owner is a icon of progressive integrity. You must be someone of true character and personality to really understand what this place is about...may the Mercury Cafe never die!
Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful staff, blooming with creativity and they are so welcoming to everyone. It seems hard to find such an inclusive place these days, and they really do create a safe environment for all. I couldn't recommend this place enough!
Great dance classes, open dance with live band. Amazing food, great staff. Fun special events such as the John Lennon sing-a-long. Peaceful decor. Educational and informational discussions.
Come for the delicious food and stay for the great show!

Loved the vibe in this place, what I don’t like is how the lady that’s serving beer and pastries in the first floor was so rude to everyone there. Her vibe was the worse, my husband and I just asked for a cake and if we could leave our leftover box there in the counter for five minutes while we where going to the bathroom and she literally yield at us two times and did a horrible noise with her mouth like if we where a burden to her. Took 59 minutes to get our order and the waiter wasn’t sure what we ordered the orders came out one at a time . Actually gaged on the rotten fruit on the salad I will never be returning. They seem to only excel at being political.
Madeline Marilyn the Brazen unfriendliness of the owner suggest she needs mental therapy. she literally starts fights with people who were invited to attend. just because her tarot cards told her something about me. I will never darken the doorstep of the Mercury Cafe again.......
