So I call for appointment for 11am but I guess because I have a older Mercedes it's not priority and told me it wouldn't get looked at until the following day I guess having a appointment doesn't mean anything

Took a day off from work to get my glove box replaced. Waited nearly four of the seven hours at the dealership for this work to be done—only to be told after 4 pm by the service rep that the service dept. never got a chance to work on my car! Why didn’t my service rep inform me hours earlier that the work couldn’t be done that day? I lost a day’s paycheck & now I have to return to get the work done, and I’ll lose another day’s pay.
