£90 pre authisation charge!!!!! I followed the instructions on the machine tapped my debit card and nothing happened, moved to another point, done the same again and charging started. However on checking my bank it was apparent that the pre authorised is amount is£45 and this was taken twice! I was fuming called the number, only to be told there was nothing they could do, it could take up to 72 hours for the £90 to be returned to my bank.
Quiet little car park near Sandown Bay. Possibly not so quiet in the summer months, but all 4 chargers were free in the middle of April :)
Don't know how they can call it a rapped charger 2 hours and, no where near fully charged
No problems here using the 22kW points. Many prior reviews illustrate problem tih GeniePoint. The chargers here are now operated by Mer and include free parking whilst charging for a max stay of 3 hours (according to signs on 13-Aug-2024).
