Didn't really need to charge, but as a new EV driver, needed a local public charger to "practice" with, ready for the day I need to use one. So used the 50kW charger as it was in quieter area of the car park. Turned out to be a baptism of fire. Couldn't use the Shell app, maybe because the mobile signal was almost zero. Tried the Shell charge card and that wouldn't scan. Tried a credit card, which scanned but wouldn't approve (used the card fine a few minutes later while shopping). Very efficient
cars parked there that shouldn't have been waited for 15 mins but they didn't return needs more policing
