This V.A. is by far THE worst I have ever used. Excuses are all I hear while chasing down healthcare. North Clinic simply sucks. They seldom return phone calls and seldom follow through in scheduling timely appointments. I'm still waiting for a "first available" I called on November 3, 2016 about and this instance isn't the first of its kind. I checked into the ER about 230pm. Ended up waiting 3 hours to be seen. Was taken care of 2o minutes after being taken back to the ER area and finally released after 4 hours after check-in. It is about the length of time everytime I go.
My husband has been being treated at the VA for several years and is always praising the high quality of service and the kindness of the staff. He is very satisfied with the time waiting as it is far shorter than having to wait with me at the private physician. As a nurse who monitors my husbands care closely, I am sure he is getting the highest standard of care.
I would not use VA emergency ever again!! Im combat wounded and recieve disability for combat injuries!! Was made to walk all the way to pharmacy from ER with ruptured disc in lower back!! ER sraff to busy laughing and talking to each other to help me to pharmacy!! The obstacles VA has put on veterans to get around the hospital is inhumane!! We have and are very happy with the VA in Memphis. Everyone is so nice. We have had one incidence that was incorrect, but when we told them it was corrected the same visit. The only challenge with coming to the VA in Memphis is parking. We drive two hours. � VA in Memphis, Tennessee
Very sharp and helpful staff. I saw all my ex coworkers and I felt I was home. I hadn't been there in a while but I felt and special. Thanks for all the wonderful and excellent care from all my doctors and therapists
Very slow. Arrived in the e.r at 8 am. Didn't get into a room til 1:30 pm. Didn't see a doctor til 2:30pm. Didn't get released til 6:15 pm
