The VA Hospital is more than just a hospital. It'' is also a place where people treat veterans with the utmost respect. I always enjoy volunteering at the VA Hospital.
I believe this medical center is as good as any other hospital in the Memphis area. Because it is a government entity, its records are available to the public, and we all know that the news media lives to spread dirt in an effort to keep their ratings up. Privately owned hospitals control what news is published about their facilities ..... keeping the bad stuff swept under the carpet!! Have relatives in Memphis, and moving down myself. Want to volunteer and help out after I get settled.
Took my 87 year old dad to the audiology dept for new hearing aids. We had been 3 weeks before for testing and fitting and were pleased. All the personnel were very caring and professional both days but Dr Miers took care of us yesterday and she was outstanding.
