RecommendedAmazing staff from the front door entrance to surgery check in to the group on 4 West. Dr. Gavin Duffy’s team ROCKS! In and out in 24 hours for a total knee replacement.
Told nurse 4 different times the meds I take and she still asks me again. Asked for pain meds after surgery, it’s been 1 1/2hrs and counting......Asked for cup of ice, told it would be right there.....45 minutes and counting. (My room is by desk, their hanging out) Checked in at 4pm. Was told be a few minutes. 3hours later got room. No dinner. Gave me crackers at 10:30pm. Guess that’s dinner........
How would you feel if you had a stroke on Monday, and physical therapy has only shown up ONCE this week??? Can't say enough good about my specialists and ICU staff, but this is ridiculous. I want to get better!

poor privacy and billing - getting bill and dx info on our records from another patient - despite advising hospital of error several times PHI violations!
I am a retired RN and I know what good care is. Recently went to ER in Mandarin for a back spasm and was treated with one codeine tablet and tested my urine. No EKG,blood work, xrays,etc. Just got a bill for $3433.00. $38 for one tablet, $326 to test my urine and $3,069.00 Emergency room Dept. I went home after being there for an hour. Treatment was horrible. requested something for pain after 45 minutes and was finally given a pill.
Walk-in satellite emergency rooms are a money trap. Go to an acute care center or hospital to save thousands of dollars!
I had 2 very bad experiences at this hospital..
