The great Caesars ghost sandwich is so amazing I would want it at least 2 times a week
Best fried pickles ever. Pulled BBQ sandwich was excellent. Beer battered fries were very tasty. Good beer selection. My wife really like the El Jefe sandwich.
SOMETIMES they offer vegan options. The food truck has been to my office complex three times. The first time they had a mushroom truffle melt and vegan cheese that was delicious. The second time, the only vegetarian option they had was just a regular grilled cheese, and they didn't have vegan cheese (I came right as they opened, so they weren't just out already). Problem solved. We had an issue with out food provider being our but we have a regular delivery of vegan cheese now. The truck doesn't not have it as often but if you plan to visit us call ahead and the truck will take some on their trip! We are sorry for the issue but we now have two flavors.
Love this place! Can't beat the classic melt, add bacon to it and it's amazing! Homemade chips are fresh and crispy and the tomato basil soup is a winner, too!
Went to this place on me and my wife's anniversary for lunch before our big night out. We came early thinking we could beat the crowd, and we did, but we ended up waiting 45mins before we got served. Because it's a new brick and mortar business I realized that they will eventually tweak this flaw. The main PROBLEM I had with this experience was how unsanitary the employees were around customers food. You do not have to love melted cheese to enjoy Melt. But if you do...it's loaded with it.
I'm pretty sure the Mac and cheese grilled cheese sandwich has crack it in... Because I've been craving it ever since I had it (twice in my short stay). And don't miss out on the Greek pasta salad! The staff is extremely friendly, and fun. It was very inviting, and they have an assortment of some of your best childhood board games! I love Melt! I could eat the meatloaf melt everyday. It is the best! Also, the staff has always been very kind when I'm there with my baby. It's our favorite restaurant in Birmingham.
MELT catered my wedding reception this weekend and it was great! The food was everything you expect from them, excellent as always! The menu was great, my guests were able to choose from 6 sandwiches and 2 sides all made to order. Everyone loved the food and more importantly left full. The people who work here are so nice and professional and get the job done -- WELL. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. They were the perfect compliment to a perfect day!
