So I called and asked if they could put me down for four people because I was going to introduce my coworkers to Melt and they said sure our wait was 30 minutes. When we got there 30 minutes later I gave them my name and they told me we had to wait a half hour. So I told them I called and they told me they don't take calls and that we had to wait. Not cool guys, we didn't get to eat on our lunch break today.

They keep changing the menu. I get a favorite and they take it away. Fried pickles are best in the land. The Firebird is also amazing. If you find the Ghost of Caesar on the menu it's really good and not as hot as it sounds.

The MELT has great food, great beer and an awesome staff (Annalee and Marla are the best!). You may have to wait a bit, but it is worth it!!
We just went to Melt this afternoon with our 2 year old little girl and we all loved it! She especially loved the fried Oreos! Our awesome server Michelle recommended the Firebird sandwich and it was soooooooo good! Just the right amount of heat and so much yummy flavor! We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I truly enjoyed our meal! The overall service was excellent, from the initial greet, order time, and friendly/professional service. The food was so delicious; we shared some barbeque nachos, I had a buffalo salad, and she had buffalo sandwich w/pasta salad. There's nothing I'd have changed; thank you! Hands down the best restaurant in Birmingham! Our server, Jake, was amazing. We brought our 1 1/2 year old son with us tonight and the staff went out of their way to entertain him! I had the fried pickles, Mac melt and fried Oreos and can't wait to go back! Yum!!
Great service! Food was good. Roast beef good, but nothing special. 3 amigos very good, but not deserving of 2 "hot" markers. Beer great. Avondale pacaderm, trimtab and a pale ale from the other brewery. Good place, glad we came.
