While visiting our son near here yesterday we visited the Melrose. Everything we ordered was done to perfection. Our granddaughter loved the mac n' cheese. Rachel Reuben was great. Friendly service. We will return.
My family said they were happy with the food they ate here while they visited me in the hospital. They treated my family well. Thank you
Don't order dinner at the diner! You're saying to yourself "I already know that." I guess we all make mistakes sometimes. BUT, breakfast is really good. French toast and omelettes are right on the money.

Not the same Melrose Diner. Not Good. – Mar. 13th 2011 went to the Melrose diner after an event at the Wells Fargo center with my family. My wife and I both ordered the Open face Hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. They were only 20 % full and it took 30 minutes for the food to show. What if they were crowded? melrose dinner – i stopped by melrose yesterday for a dinner ,i saw that they changed the place ..... its nicer and cleaner . The service was good .,our waitress was a foreign girl with the accent ..she is sweet ...Not sure what everybody is complaining about .i love it more with the new things now.....
The best – Melsose dinner is the best dinner i ve ever gone..i go there every day twice for my breakfast and my dinner..always happy never complained and the new owner is perfect..he knows exactly what he is doing and he spent a lot of time on this place..with the new things now it s even better..the best dinner on philly..
long wait on the phone to order – I called the Melrose to order a cake and was put on hold for a few munits and then was tolt I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR MAYBE 5 MORE, WHATS UP WITH THAT. Not like the old day when service was first !
