It's hard to love an experience when your pet passed away. However, the people at MedVet worked so hard to help our pup...she was just too sick. Everyone was so kind, they answered every question, addressed every concern, even dried some tears. A really wonderful place with a really wonderful staff.
They did exactly what needed to be done. At 11 PM my dog was stitched back up (she re-injured herself by opening up her stitches from a recent surgery) in hardly any time and was able to return home. A little on the pricey side but it's a good thing they have 24 hour service.
Found a cat hit by a car on New Year's Eve. Seemed to be in a lot of pain, so my family brought the cat to MedVet. They told us the cat would not make it through the night, so we made the decision to put the cat out of pain. Reminder- This is NOT our cat. We simply did not want the cat to be in pain. MedVet charged us over $400 to put the cat to sleep. They THEN said that we either had to pay an extra $100 to cremate the cat or we had to take the body with us. THIS WAS NOT OUR CAT. I'm a volunteer and foster with AAVA (Animal Aid Vermilion Area). I brought in Bailee on Tuesday, Dec 27th for a gastroscope. She is being fostered by someone in our group and I volunteered to bring her in for the procedure. Dr. Kenny Arceneaux is one of the kindest persons I've ever met. The staff are the best and although the procedure took a little longer than expected, I was very pleased with MedVet in every way. I don't recommend this place. Definitely all about the money and not the care of the dog. My dog was in the care of this medvet for 4 hours in pain and all the vet did was test and did nothing to make my dog comfortable. I paid over $600.00 for test!! I will never bring any of my dogs back here ever again!!!!!
Top notch Vets with top notch care. My 18 months old Chibaby life was saved.Her Trachea had collapsed, Medvet gave Her a new Trachea. Miracles can and do happen at Medvet...
