RecommendedI’ve had to take my Persian cat that blocked a couple months ago and my Chihuahua who was critical as well to Medvet this year. The Doctors are amazing and very capable of dealing with emergency situations. They are kind and professional and my heart goes out to them doing such a tough job every day. RecommendedI paid almost $5,000.00 for emergency surgery on my dog at MedVet Akron and if I had to do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat and it would only be with this facility. I paid for the skills of the surgical team and the technicians on duty and this was money well spent. The doctors know what they are doing and the staff takes their time to answer questions and field phone calls. Highly recommend MedVet Akron.

RecommendedSuper great doctors and staff. Very informative and caring for my Cooper. We had some rough roads but they got us through and we’re very thorough. Love my dog and for surgery I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Overcharges, our pet Karma died after they refused to treat her. They wouldn’t work with us due to lack of thousands of dollars. Because we are poor couldn’t afford to pay thousands of dollars our sweet dog suffered for days and eventually died over an injury that could have been treated surgically because we live in a greedy society that values money over life. It’s sickening that poor people get health insurance but if an animal has the misfortune of having a poor family and they get sick/hurt they’re screwed.i know someon... read more
