To say I'm clostraphobic is a understatement so I chose to go for a upright mri with medserena I was still nervous but was soon put at ease the staff are very friendly and they explained everything to me I could see them and stop the scan if I needed too they showed me the mri and how it works I even watched the tv.After years of not being able to even enter a mri room im so relived and im now completely comfortable knowing the procedures or the mri with them I would like to thank you medserena 100% Recomend

Easy to find, easy to park, peaceful and clean reception area. The radiologist was lovely, very relaxed manner which put me at ease. Superb sitting up in the MRI machine with the TV on. A really pleasant experience. Thank you Medserea, I'd definitely use you again.

I think “open” scanner is a bit misleading, as only one side is open. The gap to get in was very narrow and I had my arms up above my head getting in. Very tight fit. Arms could lower a bit but had to be crossed in front. My body was pressed against sides. Bar fitted across my body which scared me - part of claustrophobia is fear of inability to get out. I managed the 20 mins but then radiographer had lot of trouble releasing the bar and my anxiety increased. Better description of the enclosed sides is needed. I bore it beca... read more
