RecommendedEnded up taking in my toddler at 2 am the other night and the customer service was outstanding. We had no wait time, they made the insurance and billing so easy, a gentlemen came in and took care of it all while I was worrying about my baby. The nurse brought a teddy bear for him, and the doctor took his time and explained everything that was going on and did a thorough check to make sure there were no additional or underlying issues. I am so grateful for the amazing staff that cared for my son and put my worries to rest
Awesome staff, always smiling and friendly, and kind. Answer all your ?'s and calm your fears. Best hospital ever. Food was good to boot.
Had a surgery 3 weeks ago and towards the end of my recovery I started bleeding bad, I was scared it’s my first ever surgery at that, but Dr. Axene was wonderful! Great and very through with his work. He is always wanting to find out what’s going on and get where I needed to be thanks to him I haven’t had a blood spell!! I really recommend Dr. Axene!!!
My wife was in their ER in McKinney for a little over 5 hours today and NO ONE even offered her any water, ice chips, something like juice or ANYTHING to eat or drink, even after they knew she was OK per the doctor on duty! I had to ask for lemon swab sticks just to try and keep her lips moist! They knew she was diabetic and hadn't eaten since the prior evening and hadn't taken any of her diabetes medication yet too. Demonstrating core competencies & outcomes from 8 years Hospice/2000 hrs clinical pastoral education was a huge challenge at MCM there as a Chaplain PRN. I miss the ICU/ER, PC Coordinator, and MDs. They are super awesome in what they do! MCM, however, needs a dedicated Palliative Care chaplain but because of “budget constraints”, an “evolving culture” & a vindictive Lead chaplain; working experiences was a huge learning curve that spearheaded me more well rounded as a person.
